Tainan was Taiwan's capital city and administration center from 1624 to 1887. Tainan city has the population of 1.87 million and has the size of 2191 square kilometers. And it is filled with abundance of historic monuments & architecture. Within the border of Tainan, there are Cigu lagoon, Sihcao wetland. On the economy side, there are Nanke and Tree Valley science park, ITRI1)…etc. Tainan city is the center of production, intellectual, and research of the entire south Taiwan.
